We are happy to share that the process of forming a team with our potential coworkers is going along smoothly. The last couple months have been full of team meetings where we discussed theology, family values, ministry philosophies, church planting strategies, and Bible translation goals. It has been great to serve here on the center with our prospective teammates as we work through these conversation topics. They have been a huge blessing for Spencer as he has been able to hand off some responsibilities of managing the center.

When new church planting teams form, mission leadership gives out a series of documents that the team works through to help get to know each other, build unity, and to have discernment of whether to move forward together. Last week we finished the first set of documents, and now we are moving into the second set of the three. These next set of questions will guide us into deeper conversations about how we would work together and minister to the people. We are also excited to be reading survey reports from many tribes who are asking for missionaries and to be preparing survey trips.

Our family is doing well, and we have enjoyed serving in this role for this time. It has been encouraging to meet many missionaries who come here on a short break, to do supply buying, during workshops or even those who are just transiting through. We are blessed to get to know many of our fellow missionary friends and to hear their stories of how God is working in their lives and their context. Thank you for praying for us all. We are thankful for how the Lord continues to sustain us and give us exactly what we need. (2 Peter 1:3)

PRAYER + PRAISE:

- PRAY for wisdom moving forward with our potential teammates. We are all planning to decide whether to officially commit as a team or not by April.

- PRAY for direction as to what unreached people group to serve. That if God wants our potential team to move forward that He would also make us unified in where to go.

- PRAY for our health. We have had a fair number of infections these past several months. Some have been recurring. So please pray specifically that we do not build

up immunity to certain low-level antibiotics, that we would find the reason for these things, and that God would heal what is needing healed.

- PRAISE the Lord that we all enjoy the ministry here as we wait to allocate. We see the value in what we’re doing and love the opportunities that God has been giving us.

- PRAISE God for our kids and that we get to do ministry with them. We love the extra time that homeschooling gives for us to interact with each of them. Pray that we would shepherd their hearts well and that they would follow the Lord throughout their lives.
